The school underwent a huge building project in 2011 which doubled the floor area of the school from it’s original 3 Victorian classrooms and 1980’s additional classroom to a 4 classroom school with a large hall.
The school buildings comprise of an Early Years classroom with outside covered space and grassed area; a Key Stage 1 classroom which opens out onto the playground and field; a Lower Key Stage 2 classroom and Upper Key Stage 2 classroom.
The school also has a library, large hall for P.E. assemblies and performances, a kitchen where school meals are cooked on site, offices and two meeting rooms.
The grounds are large with a field, wooded area, pond and nature area, hard playground for ball games, adventure playground with climbing equipment, slide and a traversing wall. There is an outdoor classroom and willow structures. We also have a polytunnel and vegetable gardens.
Through our work on our grounds and some tree planting in our local area the school has been awarded a Green Tree School award by the Woodland Trust.
